If you are a representative from a journal or a publisher wanting to verify a certificate code provided to you as part of a submission to your publication, click here.
AJE will provide a certificate confirming that your paper was edited by a native English speaker at AJE and, assuming all of the changes we proposed are incorporated into the manuscript, is ready for journal submission. The certificate will allow journal editors to feel confident that the English language in your paper has been reviewed and verified. The certificate is granted for documents in which the language quality is ready for publication. If your paper is not ready for submission after the first round of editing, we will work with you through additional rounds of editing to ensure that every paper receives a certificate.
Due to AJE's partnerships with publishers such as Elsevier, we have created a certificate to inform all journals that your manuscript's use of the English language is up to the required standards. This implies that your paper will already be one step closer to peer review and ultimately, publication. Our publishing partners' confidence in the quality of AJE's language editing and review standards allows AJE to offer this valuable resource to our customers.
Although the certificate initially came about as part of our publishing partnerships, we feel confident that all journal editors will benefit from knowing that the language in your paper has been edited and certified.
When submitting your manuscript to a journal, include this certificate as proof that the language in your paper is ready for publication.
NOTE: Since AJE obviously cannot take responsibility for any part of your manuscript we did not edit, any changes you make to your manuscript after AJE language editing are not covered by the certificate. Therefore, the certificate will have a verification code and website link for the journal editors to verify the certificate is unique and is being used for the document AJE edited.
When you make your submission and are on the payment page, you will be asked for the title of your paper and the authors' names to be included on the certificate. This free evaluation of your paper for certificate eligibility will be a part of the high quality language editing service that AJE provides.
Simply submit this certificate as one of your documents in the journal submission process.
If your submission received AJE certification, you will be able to download your certificate directly from your AJE account. It will be available on the 'View submissions' page, along with your edited document and invoice.
