What is the %3$s certificate program?

AJE provides a certificate confirming that your paper was edited by a native English speaker at AJE. The certificate also signifies that the English in your manuscript is ready for peer review, assuming all of the proposed changes are incorporated into the manuscript. If your paper does not receive a certificate after the first round of editing, we will help you edit your paper again to ensure that your paper receives a certificate.

What will this certificate do for me?

The AJE Editing certificate informs all journals that the English language in your manuscript meets the required standards. This implies that your paper will be one step closer to peer review and ultimately publication.

When submitting your manuscript to a journal, include your AJE Editing certificate as proof that the English language in your paper is ready for peer review. Each certificate includes a verification code and website link for the journal editors to verify that the certificate is unique and is being used for the document that AJE edited.

NOTE: Because AJE cannot take responsibility for any part of your manuscript we did not edit, any changes you make to your manuscript after AJE language editing are not covered by the certificate. Please contact us if you make changes to your manuscript after our editing.

Do I need to request a certificate or do anything special to have my document evaluated for the certificate?
